Learner goals and capabilities

Your business will collaborate with a group of students from a Digital Marketing Capstone' course.

Students in the Digital Marketing Capstone course will work in teams of 2–3 to assess your current marketing efforts and online performance.  Using real business data, they’ll analyze your website, social media, and campaign metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.  Drawing on what they’ve learned in school so far, each team will create strategic recommendations, implement your selected changes, and evaluate the impact of those changes on your marketing goals.

Expected outcomes and deliverables

Students will collaborate with your business from late January through mid-April. Each team will begin by meeting with you to understand your goals and review available marketing data. They will then analyze your website, social media, and campaign performance to identify key trends and opportunities.

Deliverables will include:

  • digital marketing strategy report summarizing findings, data visualizations, and performance insights.

  • Strategic recommendations for optimizing your online presence and marketing activities.

  • post-implementation analysis evaluating whether the changes improved performance.

All students will follow a standardized framework provided by the instructor to ensure consistency across projects.

Timeline:

  • Jan 19–23: Initial client meetings and data review

  • Feb–Mar: Implementation and analysis phase

  • Apr 10: Final report submission and presentation

This collaboration gives your business actionable insights and measurable improvements, while providing students with real-world experience applying digital marketing, analytics, and web design skills.
