This project is for students on the Bronx campus of Mercy University. This experience focuses on equipping learners with the essential management skills required to thrive in both local and global markets. Participants will gain insights into environmental awareness, group dynamics, and organizational skills, applying sound management principles to real-world scenarios. Learners will be able to define management functions, understand ethical behavior, and discuss strategies for addressing environmental issues. They will also analyze managerial theories and assess organizational efforts, preparing them to tackle industry-relevant projects.

Over the semester, our students will engage with your team to complete a targeted project, using virtual communication tools to collaborate effectively and ensure alignment with your goals. Through this experience, our learners apply their skills with Python libraries, including IPython, NumPy, Pandas, and Matplotlib , for data storage, manipulation, and analysis. They gain hands-on practice with real-world datasets, learning to clean, transform, and visualize data; conduct thorough exploratory data analysis; Partnering with our students provides your organization with fresh insights and actionable data solutions while empowering students to build professional-level experience with valuable analytical tools and techniques.

Learners will work on one main project over the experience of the semester, connecting with you as needed with virtual communication tools. Our learners are capable of organizing, cleaning, and summarizing/visualizing data in a variety of different formats (see below), as well as offering advice on data collection and storage. Companies can benefit if they have data they wish to analyze but may not have resources to do so; or if companies wish to start up a data unit and need advice about which data to collect and how to store, organize, and retrieve it.
