The Odyssey - Mobile App Development
Have you ever been bored sitting on the couch. Scroll for something to do. Everything is either too far away or isn’t of interest to you. Or maybe you don’t feel like introducing yourself today. It doesn’t need to be that way. Meet the Odyssey is an app where the Amazing Race with a bit of Tinder and a hint of Pokemon Go.. changes how we connect. And redefines how we travel. I’m Christina. I have over a decade AI; our team is AI driven but customer focused. Our head of ops is a Vet that keeps the team on track and in line. And we'll be on-boarding a Gaming vet with 20+ years at Unity and Electronic Arts soon to head up game development. Our company has a prototype for our mobile app. We're looking for students who want to game experience on a technical team to work on upgrading the UI based on our designs from our in-house UI/UX design team and implementing additional app workflows. Our tech stack is React Native Development using Expo, Convex, and Typescript. Flows we need to create: Friends - see post from up to 50 close friends Compete - public quests that are time/location-constricted and auto-generated by our back-end. Location Pages - social media pages for specific locations. Collect Items - users will be able to collect items and tokens to enhance gameplay Text-based Gameplay - we are not creating a complete game but some functionality is needed to be engaging. Activity recommendation system (data science) video of app: https://youtube.com/shorts/C9etjla5mxc?feature=share

AutoQuill - Web App Development
The world is also changing. The major change currently sweeping the world is content. Can AI make content as good as an experience writer. Nope. And we're not in the business of trying to do that either. We are helping the inexperienced writer come up with content ideas, outlines, and drafts based on a data-informed content strategy -- taking the hours spent per week from 8 hrs to 30 mins. We're testing the product with 10 users over the next 3 months but we'd like to develop an alpha app in hopes that the tests are successful. The app will do the following: Import content via RSS. Summarize that content. Tag that content. Use that to draft outline and draft content(text and images). Send daily content actions to the user that includes reviewing the generated content. Schedule post for the user. Track metrics. Use metrics to improve the posts. Our tech stack is React Native Development using Expo, Astro.build, Directus.io, Nvidia. We have detailed requirement docs available. Difficult of the tasks range from intermediate to Advance.

The Odyssey- Digital Museum Curation
Have you ever been bored sitting on the couch. Scroll for something to do. Everything is either too far away or isn’t of interest to you. Or maybe you don’t feel like introducing yourself today. It doesn’t need to be that way. Meet the Odyssey is an app where the Amazing Race with a bit of Tinder and a hint of Pokemon Go.. changes how we connect. And redefines how we travel. Some even describe us an ephemeral third space. But that isn't enough. We want to think through how to bring history and culture to players both digitally and physically. We're looking for students who want to help us explore different ways to make this happen. Our vision is to provide location-based digital engagement with artifacts that can then lead players to a museum or pop-up museum location. For example, a player on a fashion experience might end up in China. There they are taken to site of Chinese silk trade. They collect their digital tokens , and then they are given the option to go to a museum exhibit that is open or potentially a pop-up exhibit. We're looking for students who are interested in museums and art galleries but also the future of digital engagement. Students could help: Design a pop-up museum experience. Curate a digital collect that can be used in AR experiences. Identify museum/conversation experiences that can be added to the game.
