The project will require students to apply their knowledge of digital media, storytelling, and social media strategies to create content that resonates with a diverse audience. The ultimate goal is to craft a compelling narrative that highlights Capella's commitment to accessibility and design excellence.

Social Media Content Creation for Accessible Design Brand
We’re looking for support to meet our social media goals and we’re seeking a student with a sharp eye for content, strong video editing skills, and a natural understanding of what resonates online. You’ll collaborate closely with our founders to plan, create, and post social-first content that reflects Capella’s ethos—accessible, empowering, design-forward. What You'll Do: Plan Content with our Founders: Support 1-2 months of content planning—aligning with launches, campaigns, customer stories, and cultural conversations. Create Beautiful, Impactful Social Materials: Use Canva and short-form video tools (Instagram Reels) to create feed posts, stories, and reels that stop the scroll and start conversations. Edit Short-Form Video: Turn raw founder interviews, customer testimonials, and product footage into polished, on-brand video moments. Repurpose Long-Form Content: Adapt our blog posts, newsletters, or product stories into bite-sized, social-native content. Stay Plugged In: Keep an eye on what’s happening at Capella and in our community—new collaborations, great customer quotes, press hits—and proactively suggest posts to capture the moment.

Content Creation for Accessible Furniture Design Startup
Capella Design is reimaging home mobility products for older and disabled adults who deserve more design-forward options. We're part of a movement to change the conversation about design for disability. In our efforts to redefine this space we need educational and empowering content for our blog, email marketing, and social media. We would like students to help us create this content. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Familiarizing themselves with our company’s products, marketing goals and target market Researching factors affecting the quality of digital content Researching best Search Engine Optimization (SEO) practices for blog post creation Recommending changes to existing digital content and designing new blog posts, social media posts and emails Recommending and designing new digital content not already used by our company

SEO for Accessible Design Startup
Capella Design is looking to reach more seniors and adults who would benefit from stylish accessible furniture. In order to do this, we need to improve our SEO through website optimization and strategic advertising on Google Search. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Understanding the target market and marketing goals of the company Researching Search Engine Optimization requirements for us to rank on the first page of Google Assisting with creation and implementation of the SEO strategy Updating the company website from Universal Analytics to Google Analytics 4 to properly track traffic Researching keywords to determine the most relevant terms that our customers search for.
